He just found this video on the Internet and thought it is important to share. Please do not bug me with questions about it, I have no idea how it works, it is just an interesting video for me. (1million views almost, so I bet it is interesting)

@lookdawg187 All of the “magnet motors” which appear to work are faked. All the others come to a stop quickly. This makes sense because if the energy in the magnetic field is being converted into kinetic, the magnetic field will be quickly used up. The energy content of even a very strong magnetic field is trivial when compared to a battery of the same size. At best magnets are a massively inefficient method of storing energy.
@QuantumCarl Yes I understand what Free Energy refers too, but in those terms you are creating energy which seems to be impossible atm, you can only transform one type of energy into another type. Even these magnetic generators don’t create energy, the magnetic energy stored in the magnets is simply transformed into kinetic energy.

@lookdawg187 Free energy refers to excess energy. The idea is that a system takes say… 1 volt to run, and produces 2 volts. That means there’s free energy. What you’re talking about is affordable energy solutions.

Oh just incase people misunderstand me some more, I know Perendev is a fraud, i’m just saying the theory behind it is plausible.
To anyone who disagrees with me on Perendev being fraud, please search for Perendev Embezzlement on the internet. The guy was arrested, and the company has been closed, do I need to say more?
@lookdawg187 Ok, take the case where you have many magnets that already exist or balls on the top of the hill. Now work out how much energy you can get by letting them roll down the hill and see if it is woth the bother.
On this specific video, you can compute the average torque all such machines make. Start with one pole on the rotor and one on the stator and notice that the situation is it own mirror image. This means that the torque vs angle curve must be symmetrical. The average is zero.
@knowledgemonger I completely understand what you are saying, and I guess I wasn’t clear enough, I’m not talking about man made magnets which have us insert energy first, like the ball rolling down the hill and us having to place it back on the hill.
Imagine if you have that same ball at the top of a hill, but several of them laying there, you roll it down to the bottom and collect that energy, then you roll the next one down and collect that energy and so forth till the balls are gone.
@lookdawg187 Imagine you have a ball at the top of a hill. You can roll it to the bottom of the hill and get energy out. After that to put it back on the top, you need to put all that energy back. It is the same story with magnets you can’t get any repeated cycle to produce mechanical energy. The mechanical energy you can get out is only what is in the field.
If you compute the energy in the magnetic field it is trivial compared to the energy needed to make the magnet.
I say at the very least it is plausible. People seem to forget that magnets exert force, so can any skeptic explain to me why it is NOT possible to harness energy from something that exerts measureable force, just like wind or water, yet we have generators for them don’t we? Aren’t those perfect examples of “free energy”?

Like I said it doesn’t even take a knowledge of physics to disprove this machine. You need a little common sense, some mechanical knowledge and to notice something about symmetry in a simplified case.
